I personally met Rene and in fact he had ministered to me a couple of times. All I can say is "What an amazing love story! " I couldn't put this book down and everything Monique says about his l o vying . Magnetic character is true from what I remember and Monique you have amazed me the way you loved him. God Bless you!
This was such a beautiful story. I felt like there were some gaps in the story, but overall very heartfelt and inspiring.
Wow.....what an incredible story of how life can change at any time in your life. Monique, you touched my heart and she will touch yours. I could feel the love between the both of you and I was only reading the book. It was a fairy tale Love Story. Thank you for sharing this precious life you had with your Prince Charming. I have the utmost respect for you, what you had gone through and how you are living your life in the present. Isn't it wonderful to know your love for each other is Forever and will be even more precious when you get to meet him up in Heaven. Love is powerful isn't it.
Truly a beautiful piece of writing. I started reading a bit skeptical, but was immediately taken by the power of the writing and the story (a true story...making it that much more heart-wrenching). I was incredibly emotional reading this book, but uplifted as I haven't been by a book in a long time (ever, perhaps?). After reading this book, I look at my loved ones now so much more deeply and with so much more love than I ever did before.
For anyone that loves anyone...this is truly a must read.
This story made me ache! I got a true sense of the author's fighting spirit, her husband's devotion and gratitude and her own families dedication. It is a good reminder to live without regrets, love deeply and cherish those around you!
Extraordinarily great book ...., really went into her journey of when her husband suddenly became ill after an allergic reaction. Monique tells her story so eloquently, she reaches your heart & you go along the journey with her...she also goes into her experience of becoming the spokesperson for her loved one in acquiring the proper medical care which often is a nightmare in and of itself. The strength displayed in spite of her own heart wrenching pain was just admirable..a definite must read book!
